General Responsibilities:

· Review of preliminary and final civil construction plans in preparation for bid proposals

· Review appropriate municipal specifications

· Preparation of Earthwork & Materials takeoffs utilizing AGTEK

· Preparation of utility infrastructure takeoffs – Storm, Sanitary, Sanitary Forcemain, Potable Water, Reclaimed Water, and Fire Water

· Request vendor quotations and notate date requested

· File vendor quotations once received

· Various office tasks related to construction estimating on an as needed basis

 

Computer Skills Required

· AGTEK 4D

· Bluebeam Software

· Microsoft Office Suite

· Basic IT knowledge

· AutoCAD experience preferred

 

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in related field

· 2-3 years of experience in civil engineering

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and reading comprehension skills

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

· Must have and maintain a valid driver license

· Must pass pre-employment drug screen
